This is week 1.
Warning: violence/ torture
TIME: 20 mins
PROMPT: The man closed the last shackle on the monster’s restraints. As it roared the man simply smiled as he reached over and picked up the surgical blade.
“I had heard your type was quite intelligent… but that’s not very smart is it?” the man said turning back to the huge creature before him. “You will waste all your energy before we even get started if you keep that up. What fun would that be?”
It made another sound. Not a roar this time. It was a long, drawn-out sound between a hiss and growl. Decibel wise though it was just as loud as the sound before it and the instruments on the metal stand rattled. The man just looked at the thing before him, his gaze flickering to utter disgust for a mere instant, then passive again.
“I think we’ll start simple yes?” The man leaned over the monster’s hand, which was as big as the man’s head. He took the blade and in a single motion popped off the smallest curled claw and it clattered to the ground. He watched as the satisfying gush of greyish green blood pooled out onto a metal arm of the seat.
The man bent down and picked up the claw, “these actually go for a fair sum on the dark market,” he said while turning it in the light, “I mean, don’t get me wrong I don’t do this for profit but if there’s one to be had then why not, right?” He turned to the table and opened one of several mason jars that were on it. He placed the claw inside.
The man proceeded to extract two more claws.
